When I embarked on my first business venture, I felt much like many others in their jobs - undervalued, stressed, and underpaid. As a primary school teacher working with children with special educational needs, I poured my heart into my work. Each day was a challenge, filled with the joy of helping my students, but the reality was harsh: the salary didn't reflect the effort and dedication I gave.

After a few years of this struggle, I decided it was time for a change. Together with my brother and mother, we took a leap of faith and opened a brick-and-mortar electric vehicle shop, complete with an online presence.

The early days weren't a piece of cake; we faced many obstacles and uncertainties. Yet, as we persevered, we began to carve out our place in the community and establish our online authority. Slowly but surely, it became clear that this venture was far more fulfilling than any job I had ever held.

Many people don’t realize how freeing it is to run a business - without timetables, deadlines, or bosses, giving you time to chase your passions. They stay stuck in toxic environments, not realizing that starting an online business is super easy nowadays and doesn’t require much skill at all.

None of us had business training, yet we did okay. We were just unsure of how to scale the business.

Then, in an instant, our world crumbled. We lost the license for our main product, and just as we were reeling from that blow, the onset of COVID-19 sent shockwaves through our business. The crisis forced us to adapt or perish.

I found myself thrust into the depths of the business world, desperate to find a way out. I sought knowledge like a thirsty traveler in the desert, exploring every strategy and avenue available. It was during this dark hour that I stumbled upon the education system I sometimes recommend in my emails.

This was a turning point for me. It opened my eyes to new possibilities and equipped me with the tools and skills I needed to transform our business. With newfound clarity and direction, I began to see the potential for growth and success that I had once thought was out of reach.

Not only did I revitalize my family business, but I also ventured into new territories that taught me so much: affiliate marketing, Amazon FBA, course creation, and coaching. Each new endeavor brought its own challenges and rewards, and I feel a sense of empowerment I had never known before.

But the most important transformation I've undergone during the process, was not just acquiring entrepreneurial skills, but more importantly, transitioning from a worker to an independent entrepreneur mindset, because I'm not dependent on my family business anymore.
